Quick Post: Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick

Today I just felt like doing a quick post for you guys, I'm still just getting to know Seattle leaving me with little time to blog, I just needed to contribute something today, so I decided to do a small one brand review. I'm sure most of you have probably already tried, seen, or heard of these.

Rimmel would probably have to be my second favorite drugstore brand when it comes to lipstick, Revlon being first! Some of the darker colors can be drying but these are very pigmented with a large range of colors, they last me around four hours with eating. These are very affordable lipsticks, in my experience all under $9, the ones by Kate can actually be found for $3 to $6, and in my opinion the Kate collection is their best. I think they have colors for every season, occasion, and mood. I just put some balm or chapstick under these to keep my lips hydrated and there is no problem, no weird smell and easy to apply. Go get these. Happy New Year all you beautiful people!

  1. I love Rimmel and Revlon lipsticks as well, they are fantastic and so affordable! I don't think we have the same shades in the UK, or at least they are named differently.
Loving the photographs, looks really cool! :)

    1. Thank yew (:
      Used a cheap macro attachment!!

I always found it strange that certain shades aren't available in different countries! Do you have any idea why?

    2. No problemo.
Ahh, it's really cool. I like to use the reverse lens technique sometimes, it gives you really super macro images. Not used it for make-up purposes before though. You should look it up if you have a camera with a detachable lens!

I have no idea actually! Would maybe be interesting to look into.

Also, I wanted to tell you I've nominated you for the Leibster Award. Check my blog for details!

    1. It's not really one that I wear that much but it looks really nice with just bronzer. I'm definitely liking it more and more over time! It was actually marked down when I bought it, like five something, so it was just kinda silly to pass it up.

      Glad you like it! (:

  6. Wow those shades are beautiful! I love Rimmel, I've been using their blush and mascara for years but I haven't tried their lipsticks yet. I have the urge to try them now. :)
